The Annual Holy Rosary HEART Auction
33 Years of HEART: Helping Education & Religious Traditions
The HEART Auction is Holy Rosary's largest community fundraiser. Funds raised annually by the auction flow into the general operating fund, allowing the school to continue providing affordable quality Catholic education, an education that has earned our school the U.S. Department of Education's coveted Blue Ribbon School of Excellence award twice!
In the 33 years the auction has been held, the attendees have always been very generous. The goal of the first auction was to raise enough money to fund a one-year scholarship to the school, which in those days was $500. Instead, generous donors helped raised nearly $5000!
Past auctions have provided new desks for Kindergarten and Second Grade classrooms, funded a pool of Apple MacBook notebook computers for student use, and have provided aids to the teaching staff in the form of staff development seminars and in-class SMART Boards.
